Necklaces
and Bracelets - Beading 101
Class instruction will cover all basic information
needed to get started including finishing techniques for necklaces
and bracelets. Students will have the opportunity to design a one
of a kind Necklace or Bracelet. List of necessary materials and
tools will be provided. Some tools will be available to share.
Cost: $42, Skill Level: Beginner, Sessions: 1
Earrings
and Pendants – Beading 201
Learn to create Earrings and Pendants using wire-wrapping
techniques. List of necessary materials will be provided. Tools
are available for sharing, although medium to high grade round nose
pliers are suggested.
Cost: $32, Skill Level: Intermediate, Sessions: 1
Pearl
Knotting
Learn the age-old technique of Pearl Knotting using
a modern day device, a Tri-Cord Knotter. This technique may also
be used to create new interest to your current bead designs. Materials
list will be provided. Tri-Cord Knotter and one bobbin of thread
will be included. Class registration must be 10 days prior to scheduled
class to allow for the shipment for the Tri-Cord Knotter. Cost:
$40, with Tri-Cord Knotter $65, Skill Level: Intermediate

Maille
Can't decide between Gold or Silver? This bracelet will satisfy
everyone! Silver one side, Gold on the other. Learn to weave a traditional
decorative chain using Jump Rings in your choice of metal. You will
learn the proper way of opening and closing jump rings. Student
may need additional time to complete the project.

Weave Bracelet (NEW!)
Etching
In this class you will learn a simple process for etching copper
and brass along with several finishing techniques. You will
combine several etched pieces into a layered pendant that is
uniquely yours. A variety of ideas for incorporating etched
pieces into your work will be presented. Cost: $45 Skill Level:

instructor, paid directly to instructor and not returnable once

Viking
Knitting
Knitting is not just for yarn…come to this
exciting class and learn the ancient art of Viking Knitting. Instead
of needles and fiber, this technique uses Sterling Silver, Gold
Filled or Art wire. You will learn how to loop the wire into a tube
of silver and transform it into a bracelet. List of necessary materials
and tools will be provided.

Crochet Made Easy
Wire crochet is easier than it looks! Create bold
one of a kind jewelry from wire, beads and a crochet needle. No

If you have
been be collecting beach glass, shells, river rock or beads that
that don’t have holes we have creative ways to make them useful.
This class will offer hands on experience with a flex shaft and
how to properly use it. Students will have the opportunity to drill
holes, create a channel and finishing techniques.

Metal Clay Rings
Precious Metal Clay (PMC) is the alternate answer
to creating fine jewelry without metalsmithing. Students will
learn basic techniques for handling and finishing PMC from a
certified PMC instructor. Most pieces will be fired during the
class remaining pieces may be picked up at the store the following
day. Tools will be provided by instructor for sharing. Class
registration must be 10 days before class to allow for ordering
of materials. Students registering after this time will be responsible
to acquire their own clay.

Summer
Camp...for Adults!
The kids have
their play time, now it’s your turn. Join us every Tuesday,
July 7 - Aug. 11 for Summer Camp. If you need help with a project
or want to refine your skills, campers will have the opportunity
to work at their own pace and on their own projects. Summer Camp
is designed to enhance your current skills staff will on hand for
oversight and tutorial. Formal instructions will not be provided.
Reservations recommended, drop-ins are first come first serve. Space
is limited.
Pre-requisite:
Campers must have working knowledge in the technique required to
complete their project. Cost: $14/hr, 2 hour minimum.

that you have your bread, you will need something to put it
in.Students will lay out a woven base and weave sides in a
start/stop weaving technique. Color options will be available.

anytime during our regular business hours for $35 per hour. Students are
