Going Green Raffle

As part of an effort to be more enviromentally conscious, Bead Q! will use recycled bags for packaging goods until the supply is exhausted. If you would like to join us in these efforts, we encourage you to bring back your bags. We will be happy to re-use them.

To encourage our customer we will offer customers a raffle ticket for a $10 gift certificate for not taking a shopping bag. If customers bring in their bags for recycling we will also give them a raffle ticket.

Raffles will take place every 6 weeks. Our next drawing will be December 1.

Jewelry Exploration

Where's Q?

I am often asked by my customers, "Where are you? Where will be nexxxt week?" I decided it might be fun to post where I will be in 2010 because my schedule is sooo full I can barely stand it. I have been so stressed just thinking about it, so in September I bought a 2010 monthly wall calender so that I could start gridding out my life for the next 12 months. Here is what it looks like for now. If you are in those areas let me know, maybe there will be an opportunity to visit!

Most Loyal Customer Contest 2009

This year for our anniversary we asked the question, "Are you our most loyal customer? ...prove it!" To prove that you are our most loyal customer we asked our customers to bring in the oldest reciept. She/He who brought in the oldest one won a $50 gift certificate.

The Bead Q'ers

Here is a recent picture of almost our entire staff. Missing are Kristine (book keeper) and Natalie (she had to leave early). This year we went to the Pub next to the RR store for a few laughs, dinner, and some drinks. A good time was had for all as we were challenged with Trivia Night. Among our group, Jill won by a landslide (only because there was a '97 music lightening round), but Linda and Natalie tied for second place. A second prize was not given so we did not do a "chug-off". But I am sure her mother appreciated that. (she is not quite old enough to drink!)

Here are the questions. Oh, if see you Jill, ask her what she won. If you are lucky, she might be wearing it.
