Current Offerings

COOL, CUFFED AND CONNECTED
Learn how to stamp metal AND work with leather. Students will learn to cut and finish leather in the first part of the class. In part two, students will learn metal stamping. Add all the pieces together and you will set the latest trend in fashion!

UNLOCKED - BASIC SOLDERING (SS)
Why rummage to find cool keys when you can make your own from sterling silver. In this class we will touch on basic soldering and sawing. By the end of the class you will have Unlocked the possibilities.

COLOURS IN BLOOM - Enameling
Learn to make Enameled and copper ball pins, to create a bracelet that is blooming in color! Wire wrapping and torch patina will complete this project. Students may choose 2 enamel colors from available colors. Additional materials and tools maybe purchased from instructor.

ELEMENTS IN HEAT
Add a new dimension to copper and silver without breaking your budget! Learn proper firing techniques to easily add color and design to metal. Students will create fun charms for pendants, earrings or bracelets. Additional materials and tools maybe purchased from instructor.

BASIC SOLDERING I - Spiral Chain
Learn the basic concepts in soldering while creating a Spiral Chain. By the end of this class you will have an understanding of necessary tools and materials to successfully solder simple joints. Students will complete a spiral bracelet by the end of class.

ROCKIN' RIVETS
If you have been be collecting beach glass, shells, river rock or beads that that don't have holes we have creative ways to make them useful. This class will offer hands on experience with a flex shaft and how to properly use it. Students will have the opportunity to drill holes, create a channel and finishing techniques.

POP, ROCKS and RIVETS
Create one of a kind rings and pendants with river stones and silver. This class will offer hands on experience with a flex shaft and how to properly use it. Students will learn how to drill several pieces, create rivets and bend wire for a simply Pop creation! Enough material will be provided to complete both projects. (Stones will vary in color and size.) Tools and equipment is available for purchase from instructor.

WRAP-AROUND SHABBY CHIC BRACELET
This hot new bracelet will have you all Wrapped up with the celebs! A fresh look with Swarovski crystals will have you all set for Spring. In this class you will learn to weave Swarovski crystals onto leather cording. Most students will finish a double wrap bracelet while others will finish a triple.

Expand your silversmithing skills with shaping and forming to create beads ands lentils. This unique project will help set you apart from ordinary charms.

BOX RING
Create a hollow ring while refining your sawing and soldering techniques. If you are looking to challenge this class will surely impress. Every step will refine your skills and give you experience with that tool (saw) you have been avoiding. Soldering experience a must.

Fluted Pipes
Add a new dimension to copper without breaking your budget! From copper piping, wire and enamel we will create a vibrant bracelet. In this class we will touch on torch fired enamel, sawing, and shaping techniques.

BEACHIN' RIVETS
Long walks on the beach have yielded pockets full of glass and nowhere to go. Here is a way to make them useful. Learn to drill glass and rivet the holes for a great finish. This class will offer hands on experience with a flex shaft and how to properly use it. Students will have the opportunity to drill holes into stones and create rivets for a great finish! Flex shafts will be provided for every students.

BALL AND LOOP - Silver Fusing
Create an elegant chain from the fine art of fusing. For this class, all you will need is wire! The best things in life are the simple.

Cut Outs - Sawing Made Easy
If you have been fighting wtih a saw, this class will help you win. Learn the proper way to handle this essential tool to create great cut out pieces from any metal.

Skill Level: ALL

One Session: Three Hours

 

STACKING - Tube Setting
Handcrafted stacking rings are fun and easy to make. In this class students will learn to tube set gem cut stones and make rings. Most students will finish 3 rings.
Pre-requisite: basic soldering.

BUBBLE FUSION
Silver Fusing with a twist. Learn to fuse fine silver wire while adding beads seamlessly. Through repetition you will master silver fusing. This technique will expand your skills in silversmithing while making a fun and playful bracelet. Students will use fine silver with glass beads to complete project. Students with smaller wrists will have enough beads to also make earrings.

METAL E-SQUARED
Metal Etching and Enameling. Designed to kick up your creative juices. This class will teach you how to etch copper And torch fire enamel. Students will not only walk away with finished pieces but also an etching and enameling kit so they can start working immediately after the class.

BEZEL SETTING - Intro to Silversmithing

If you are looking for a fresh approach to jewelry making try metalsmithing. This class will teach you how to create sterling silver bezels to set cabachons for pendants.

Skill Level: Advanced

Pre-requisite: students Must be proficient at soldering with a torch, teach approval is required.

Learn the basic concepts in soldering while creating a Message Charm with a silver edge. This project will allow you to create a more polished look to your stamping projects. By the end of this class you will have an understanding of necessary tools and materials to successfully solder simple joints.

BASIC SOLDERING - Rings and Bangles
Learn the basic concepts in soldering and metal stamping while making rings and bangles. By the end of this class you will have an understanding of necessary tools and materials to successfully solder simple joints and stamp metal. Students will have time to make at least 1 ring and 1 bangle. Students who work quickly will be able to finish 3 rings and 1 bangle.

SILVER AND ICE- Pave made Easy
Get your Flex shaft on! This sophisticated project is perfect for beginners! Steady hands and magnifiers is the key to completing this project.

CAPTURED - Cold Connections
Learn to make connections cold! No soldering needed. During this class we will touch base on sawing, texturing and making connections.

MOBIUS BRACELET
Learn to create twists and coils from wire to make a statement. Additionally, students will learn to torch patina copper to create rich colors.

BAUBLE-LICIOUS
Create the most sparkly of bracelets with a tubular weave and your choice of crystals. This two part class will teach you how to create a bangle of beads. In the first class, students will learn how to begin and continue the weave. In the second class, students will bring back their completed weaves to learn how to finish the technique.
